Can Kakashi return without Obito's help?

When Kakashi left the battlefield to follow on Obito's kamui trail they seemed to be in Obito's practice world. Young Rinn, Obito and Kakashi were there. My question is can he return from there on his own since that is not usually where he goes when he does kamui himself or will he have to stay there until Obito feels like freeing him? Can Minato rescue him since he has Minato's kanai?

Yes, he should be able to. He's low on chakra right now, so that might explain why he hasn't returned yet.

There is still the possibility that he may die from his injuries, but it seems unlikely.

Yes he can, But he needs some chakra to be able to do that and I don't think he has enough atm. Maybe he will rest up a bit.

It was the same Kamui dimension as always.
The rin part was genjutsu between Obito and Kakashi.
