Where is Black Zetsu?

The last I saw him was at the 5 kage summit.
Then he was absent from the zetsu army.
And now with the resurfacing of part of his entity on Obito,
it's strange that his entire self isn't with madara. Where is he?

Chojiro cut him in half. Last he was seen being pinned down by Chojiro....it never confirmed of he actually died. Regardless he's pretty much out of the conflict.

Not the point, look at how zetsu "died", he was in a position to sink back into the land itself.
