I never said he's the strongest but he's clearly not as fodder as most people consider him
the strongest is Juubi Obito followed by Edo Madara ET Kabuto Hashirama

Orochimaru never called Hiruzen the God of Shinobi.

Orochimaru calls Hashirama the God of Shinobi. Who is the God Of Shinobi right now? Hashirama Senju... not Hiruzen

"Was said to be the strongest Hokage" - Iruka.... Notice the "was said to be"...As of right now Hiruzen is the only one, where nicknames or titles applied to him in a certain time of his life.. but never got carried over till his death. That my friend.. proves hes not at Hashirama's level. You was easily in his 50s (past prime) at his death.. and was still known as the God of Shinobi.


Going by hype/ feats:

1. Hashirama
2. Tobirama
3. Hiruzen
4. Minato
5. Tsunade

In terms of fighting prowess.

Maybe we like arguing who is the strongest.

But an argument is eventually decided by your own personal preferences, and personal opinion of the characters in question. Unless the character is beat in the anime by the other character in question, arguments are nothing more than fans wanting to change the outcome or make up their own.

The most prevalent ones I have seen are Danzo and DSM Kabuto outcome arguments, and to me they are pointless, as they have both been defeated and therefore require no arguments, and yet they continue to be argued.

I can totally agree with Discussion, but arguments over battles, characters, abilities, etc. are just pointless and are eventually decided by personal preferences.

], plus we don't know how strong prime Hiruzen is, so we can't really determine.

Hiruzen was considered the strongest in Part 1, until Kishi retconned it in Part 2.
There only evidence that Hiruzen in his 'prime' was the strongest of the Hokage was during the fight against Orochimaru, when Orochi said Hiruzen would have won if he was younger. However, that has become redundant since Kishi stated that Hashirama and Tobirama were no-where near their full strength at that time.

At the end of the day, we just have to accept the fact that Kishi changed his mind on how strong Hiruzen is, and that his 'prime' is not as god-like as it was hyped to be. There is absolutely nothing Hiruzen could do against this:

Shes the strongest Hokage right now. And Hiruzen will have no counter to her poisons, if she decides to use them. So I suggest you watch the people you put as weaker then Hiruzen.

Just read Orochimaru vs Naruto, if Orochimaru would've performed like he did in that fight, he would've stomped Hiruzen without his hands. Orochimaru was obviously toying with Hiruzen.

That's an oddly specific number you chose...

Hiruzen is a boss. Hasn't done shit on the battlefield yet, but I'm sure he can kick massive ass.

My point being: Hiruzen's only feats are a weak fireball technique, a Doton wall, and his Enma summon.
It's a stomp in Orochimaru's favor.
