Urasan: I think of blocking as involving a stationary defense and parrying as a moving defense.
Saki: In the latter's case, it is done by striking an enemy's sword with your own; around the forte or the base of the blade.
Urasan: Oh, and parrying deflects the enemy's blade away, protecting you and putting you in a good position to counter.​

Now one perform a veritcal slash from top to bottom and the other block. Force the attacker backwards after you block.

Saki: I've been waiting for this!

*With a sudden lunge, Saki quickly closes the gap between him and his brother whilst raising his bokken above his head. As Saki finds himself now within close proximity of Urasan, he brings his bokken down with as much force as he can muster.*

*Seeing his brother approach and then swing his sword down, Urasan widens his stance whilst placing the forte of his bokken in the palm of his left hand. With that being done, he raises the entire wooden tool above his head and holds onto it firmly, with both hands gripping it firmly at either end. Thus, as Saki's bokken comes down, it finds itself abruptly stopped by Urasan's own bokken upon contact. Urasan then takes advantage of the sudden halting of Saki's motion to knock his brother's bokken aside and pivot ninety degrees to his left whilst striking him in the solar plexus with his right foot.*

[Vision]

Hey Hey!! I simply said move him backwards... not actually strike him ~___~

Now you the one that got hit urrusan..... you parry his stab. The saki perform a stab. When you parry make it so that he is off balance and completely open for an attack.


NO HITTING HIM FOR PAY BACK

Urasan: Oi, oi... Technically I did just move him back, I did so with a gentle nudge from my foot. That didn't hurt right? xD
Saki: You... Will... Pay... But not now, sensei scares me more than you!

*With an exasperated sigh, Saki takes a single leap backwards (one meter) and then just as quickly lunges towards his brother. As he rapidly approaches his brother, Saki then draws his bokken up and outstretches his right arm with the point of the bokken directed towards Urasan's openly exposed thorax, with the intention of stabbing him.*

*As his brother once again approaches him, Urasan raises his bokken perpendicular to the floor and then, when Saki's point comes within close proximity, he quickly knocks the incoming weapon askew with a sudden strike to its forte. The sudden and forceful shift in Saki's bokken leaves him wide open to a follow-up assault from Urasan.*​

Combination attack a vertical, horizontal and a stab. while the other will block twice and parry one with a counter.

Saki: Let's change it up a bit, brother... How about you attack me this time?
Urasan: Hmph, I suppose it's only fair. Just don't overdue it, you'll just embarrass yourself.

*Taking two steps towards his brother, Urasan then lunges towards Saki whilst raising his bokken above his head with his right hand. With a single swift motion, he then brings his bokken down upon Saki with as much force as he can muster.*

*Without time to dodge, Saki raises his bokken above his head whilst keeping horizontal. Just as Urasan's blow is about to reach its target, Saki braces himself and widens his stance for the anticipated blow. As a loud clash suddenly echoes throughout the dojo, Saki finds that he managed to successfully block his brother's initial technique.*

*Seeing his first move soundly countered, Urasan proceeds to shift the majority of his weight to his right foot, before pivoting in a counterclockwise motion with his bokken now parallel to the floor. Keeping his motion as fluid as possible, Urasan now finds himself aiming at the left side of his brother's exposed neck.*

*As Urasan swings his bokken again (horizontally), Saki quickly moves both of his arms approximately 45 degrees to his his left. As the bokken once again collide, Saki makes sure to shift his weight to his left foot in order to maintain his balance.*

Urasan: I'm not done yet! One more!

*Concluding his bold declaration, Urasan leaps back a meter before lunging at his brother with his right arm outstretched. With the point of the bokken aimed towards penetrating Saki's right lung, Urasan keeps a firm grip.*

*Discarding his defensive pattern, Saki releases his left hand from the forte of his bokken and without hesitation, slams it against the forte of Urasan's own forte with an abrupt horizontal slash that has his bokken titled 45 degrees upwards. As the bokken make contact, Urasan finds himself off balance with his bokken knocked askew.​
