We don't know if Sasuke's Susano'o can block the Totsuka blade, which is hyped to be a flawless offense.

Izanami requires that Sasuke and Itachi feel the same physical sensation twice. How exactly is that possible when both are going to be in susanoo for the duration of the fight. Totsuka blade isn't hyped to penetrate anything whereas susanoo is hyped as a stronger defence in comparison. Susanoo also has better feats.

Clone feints won't work as Sasuke can always manifest ribcage susanoo. He can see chakra with the sharingan so the real Itachi's presence after Sasuke kills his clone will always be with Sasuke.

It has no true solid form because it's the liquid inside the jar. Since it's a liquid, it can change its shape in contact with the air forming a sword

It requires a repetitive action. Kabuto stabbed with a sword twice and triggered it.

If Sasuke stabs with Susano'o twice, it will trigger.

Like i've said, in terms of piercing power, original Kusanagi has greater hype since it's said it can cut through almost anything even diamond, when Totsuka has no hype whatsover concerning it. All what is said is that anything it pierces gets sealed, but it actually has to pierce the thing
