Foreshadows/Hints:
Obito and Naruto's mentors both believe that they are the saviors of this world. Or the "child of prophecy".
Jiraiya believes that Naruto is the real child of prophecy. The child who can achieve true peace.
Madara also believes that Obito is the savior of this world. A.K.A, the child of prophecy:
Let me explain further in Obito's case, since Madara "betrayed" Obito; Madara DID in fact believe that he was the savior of this world, because without Obito, the plan would never be in action. Technically, even if Madara successfully manipulated Obito and sealed the ten tails inside of him, it couldn't and wouldn't have been done without Obito.
So, he IS in fact the child of prophecy, too to Madara.
Potential Proof (History Repeats Itself):
Obito's ideals and philosophy regarding life and the ninja society contradicts Naruto's more than anyone else's. They are both opposites. Hell, even Obito as a kid had the same color scheme as Naruto, and they both had goggles at one point. Kishi MEANT to make Obito the opposite of Naruto.
The same with the Sage's sons. The younger son is Naruto, who thinks that in order to achieve peace, one has to love. The older son is Obito, who thinks that in order to achieve peace, you have to have power. (Power being the infinite tsukyomi in this case.)
This is also foreshadowed in the manga. Notice how Obito has dojutsu, like the older son, while Naruto has regular eyes.
Power:
Obito and Naruto both have big portions of the Sage's power, just like his two sons.
Obito has the sharingan and the rinnegan
Naruto has Sage Mode
Obito has the power to control a tailed demon by force. (Ex. Controlling the ninetails into wiping out the Hidden Leaf Village using the sharingan.)
Naruto has the power to "control" a tailed demon by love. (Ex. Naruto convincing the nine tails that he doesn't hate him. He also stated that he wanted to do something about the hatred that was in Kurama. Kurama convinced himself that Naruto was the child of prophecy after watching him grow over the years.)
Obito is now the jinchurriki of the incomplete 10 tails. (A BIG portion of the Sage's Power)
Naruto can use his BM, and KCM. Kurama now lets him take his chakra. (Another huge portion of The Sage's Power.)
Appearances:
Once you think about it, both Naruto's AND Obito's outfits are insanely similar to the Sage's.
Notice the 4th picture. He looks VERY similar to Obito, and in the picture to the left, he looks similar to Naruto. (A little.)
And, if you haven't noticed already, Naruto already looks insanely similar to the sage when in BM mode.
I think when they reveal Obito's full body next chapter, he'll look similar to the sage too.
