The 3t sharingan has a basic 3 abilities, while the Byakugan has like 5, and it' even able to detect or prevent genjutsu, which is what the sharingan is best used for.

3T abilities: copies jutsus, see chakra, predict movements, genjutsu, seeing through genjutsu, izanagi, izanami, and maybe more

Byakugan abilities: Far range seeing, gentle fist, rotation, chakra seeing

3T>Byakugan

2)THe Byakugan wasn't given power ups because it's pretty Op as it is.

Byakugan is on par with MS IMo. Before any of you jump me, I have my reasons, and if you'd want I will explain them to you. Just ask.

Sharingan Genjutsu counter by Byakugan's ability to prevent genjutsu.

Sharingan's ability to predict movements = Byakugan's ability to read movements faster and more efficiently

Sharingan's only other ability is to copy jutsus

Byakugan can be used for rotation, a defense stronger than Gaara's sand.

It can be used for gentle fist, which can break bones, damage internal organs, and block/control/decrease chakra flow.

It can destroy anything made of chakra.

It can see 359 degrees

It can see through objects.

It has extended vision.

The Byakugan is far more superior than the Sharingan.

Byakugan cant counter genjutsu

Yet hinata couldn't dodge 10 tails spikes

I've listed all the sharingan abilities

We don't know if its stronger than gaara's sand

Only good ability

No, it only hits chakra points in humans body

Not special

Sharingan does the same

Byakugan can also read movements more easily, which is basically the same as the sharingan's prediction ability. The Byakugan can also see through genjutsu. The gentle fist can destroy chakra. Izangi is senju DNA-exclusive.

izanagi can be used by any uchiha, senju dna just makes the eye come back after some minutes while without senju it never comes back
