This had already taken over the Sakura hating trend lol. Seems like a lot of base members and naruto fanboys just want Sasuke to be died. Eventhough I don't like Sasuke as much as Naruto, I have to admit that Naruto got a lot of his personal development through having the rivarly between himself and Sasuke and it's what made him stronger than he is now. I think if Kishi killed of his arrogance and ignorance he'd probably be a very likeable character like e.g. Vegeta from DBZ, just saying...

^THIS^ I'm a Naruto fangirl, but I know my favorite character has his limits and I don't go around calling him "lord," "god," or anything like that. It's those type of threads that people come up with that make others start hating on that particular character. Stop the threads, stop the character hate (at least for those characters who actually are likeable).

Sasuke's been my favorite character since he introduced himself, and I continue to like him because I think he's one of the most complex characters and has the most character development (admitedly he has the 2nd best character development to Shikamaru, my 2nd favorite character.) I'd go so far to say that if I ever had made a list of my favorite characters of all time, he'd be on it. I just like complex anti-heros like Sasuke and Jaime Lannister from A Song of Ice and Fire.

However, I admit that other fans brushing off Sasuke's flaws ans calling him "Lord" annoys even me. Sasuke is a fascinating character because of his convincing and believable flaws. In my opinion fans that whitewash his flaws do him a great disservice.
