Finally a chapter again who gets a 10/10 from me... My full review will follow (withing few hours, I am on work now and will have more time then) later and believe me it will be epic.


This chapter:

- Minato trolls Madara...
- Obito trolls everyone...
- Naruto acting as the mature one, not Sasuke...
- Naruto needs to help Sasuke and Minato (catching them up)...
- Obito's answer to Sasuke, F*CKING BADASS AND THE TRUTH!!! Once a traitor, always a traitor...
- More Minato hype (once you get touched, you are screwed lol).

This is not my review, it will come later. And that's always neutral. I am just teasing you a little, I can't see in my OP where I troll on Sasuke-fans... :/

Guy is excited and stating his opinion, please don't be so rude.

But it really was a good chapter, little hard to see what was going on at points so I had to reread some panels but i'm happy to see Obito on the throne of the 10 tails, plus he looks like even more of a monster now. It'll be interesting to see how much Obito physically degrades before he's taken out.

I mean, the chapter wasn't half bad. As always, there were a couple of little nuances that I had with it; but that seems to be expected lately.

For instance, Kishimoto seems to have this inclination to hype up one character in exchange for debasing another one. Which, sure, you can do whatever you want, but it seems to be the same pattern of hyping those who already have hype and disregarding or even hindering those anyone he considers less relevant. Honestly, what more do you need? Hashirama was given Shinsuusenju and now Minato has Kyuubi Chakra Mode, yet for what is considered "plot reasons", he wants to hype them up again while he belittles the fact that Tobirama-- who is featless, may I remind you-- can only create two shadow clones (which used to be considered impressive) and downright doesn't even show Hiruzen this chapter whom, save for the jutsu he used in conjunction with the other three Hokages, has not used a jutsu storywise since 2003. He's literally becoming the "Sakura" of this group and he's not even a woman. They could've all had a chance to shine in the chapter even if they weren't totally relevant for any sort of insignificant character development like the kind Mianto was given. I'm well aware that they may have more to offer in the near future, but it's not even about giving credit where credit is due anymore, he's just turning the other two Hokage into laughing stock. And they don't deserve that.

I also hope there is a better explanation of how he survived the Rinne Tensei and became the jinchuuriki than Madara's "I'm suprised your body managed to slip through those rocks" excuse when Obito was found and rescued.

Whats up with naruto fanboying and sasuke downplaying ?
Also, it was wrong anyway. Sasuke was the one who went ahead to stop obito while naruto was slacking off and a big LOL if you think naruto was acting mature or he saved minato/sasuke.
Minato was a kage bunshin and sasuke can just cut that hand with amaterasu/raiton/susano etc.

For sure. I didn't know what to expect from this chapter, but let me tell you, the ending was a slap in the face.

It was a good chapter, just good. Kishi's days of emotionally arresting storytelling, characters you empathise with in a real way, clever and rational battles of wit with ninja techniques that were based in some kind of rationality and real ancient ninja lore, not just Xmen crap, stories like the Shikamaru-Hidan-Asuma arc, or the Sasori-Sakura-Chiyo Baa Sama or the Pain-Jiraiya arc, he's just not thinking on that level anymore. Its painfully clear, as Kishi stated years ago, he's tired of this story and wants to move on to a new Manga. And unfortunately, it shows. So this chapter is good, but only when comparing it to this terrible ninja war story.
