I think Hashirama knew they were sealing the Juubi. He was probably asking which one of them had it sealed into them?

Hashirama was basically wondering which one sealed the 10 tails within them. He could probably feel it being sealed. Thought I have zero clue how Obito did it while he was being controlled...

When Minato hit Obito, Madara lost control of Obito and at that point he took over the Juubi.
