If the weapons where to collide, the metallic one would possibly lose it fire aura or, the flames wouldn't be effective.

Now, with one in their hands, the brothers proceed to swing the swords around, but find that they are not as sharp as a metallic weapon.​

*Seeing two incoming kunai, the brothers take a single leap backwards (one meter) whilst recalling senpai's instructions. Quickly, they stream chakra into their right arms and then just as rapidly, they release the chakra from their arms. The newly expelled water (thanks to nature transformation) manifests in the form of a small shield for each brother. As soon as the shields are formed, the brothers proceed to block the incoming kunai with their newfound shields of water.*​

Keeping in mind that the water needs to look like a shark, the brothers focus deeply on an illustration they had seen a while back and proceed to apply shape manipulation to the chakra-infused water. Within a brief moment, the water bursts upwards and just as suddenly, takes on the appearance of a shark before plowing into senpai's clone.*​

*Without moving from where they preformed the last technique, the brothers proceed to make the three hand-seals that senpai demonstrated and begin kneading chakra into their right hands. After an exceptionally brief moment passes, the brothers release their chakra, now in the form of water, and proceed to apply shape manipulation to the water. Almost immediately, two long whips manifests from the water and are then swung at senpai. Urasan's whip finds itself wrapped around the clone's right arm whilst Saki's whip is wrapped around the clone's left leg, restraining the clone.*​

Now, one of the most interesting jutsus.
You form these handseals and spew out a highly viscous chakra enhanced fluid that has sticky property. If used directly, the opponent can be immobilised.

That's correct. But if you remember, Itachi attacked him from the sides, not directly under him. In our RP, no one actually attacks from the sides, everyone goes for the blind spot.
