Enton: Kagu-Tsuchi & the Ten tails

Some small clarifications are in order, after some observations were made.

1] Just as Yamato said, Naruto's best Wind jutsu can't compete with Sasuke's fire jutsu
This was observed in the past, when Naruto had been attempting to create the Wind Sytle: Rasenshuriken.

As later shown, the Wind Style: Rasenshuriken is not capable of triumphing over Sasuke's Enton: Kagu-Tsuchi. Review the artwork closely. Sasuke fired Enton: Kagu-Tsuchi towards the Ten tails, while Naruto threw his Wind Style: Rasenshuriken towards the flames.

The Rasenshuriken collides with the Kagu-Tsuchi, and the flames devour the Rasenshuriken and grow more powerful.

It was commonly assumed that the Kagu-Tsuchi had somehow combined with the Rasenshuriken, but the drawing makes it rather clear that Rasenshuriken was absorbed into the Kagu-Tsuchi at the lower end. The Rasenshuriken never even sliced the flames.

The tip of the Kagu-Tsuchi is still there, going towards the Ten tails. This brings us to my second point.
(And yes, this does mean Naruto is able to compete with something Sasuke could have done with his old eyes)

2] Kagu-Tsuchi probably didn't stab the Ten tails
If the Ten tails could just easily remove the portion of it's body that's on fire, then it means it can deal with internal injuries that way, or the Kagu-Tsuchi was unable to stab it to begin with.

I like the fact that Naruto's best Wind Jutsu can be best by Sasuke's most generic Fire Style Jutsu. It gives Sasuke a better chance at beating him in a fair fight. Naruto still has TBB and Kyuubi chakra plus his Shadowm clones, but they have proven ineffective in the past. The only thing that gives Naruto an edge is Kurama.

But yeah Inferno Style is where it's at...

I thought the whole purpose was to combine the two techs together when they collide. Yes Enton>Wind since the Chou Odama Rasenshuriken stopped rotating after being hit by the Arrow.

"Combine" in the sense that it was originally thought that it was literally a Rasenshuriken with flames on top of it, as opposed to a larger Enton: Kagu-Tsuchi.

Correct on most cases but only a fire tech equal or greater than the wind tech will over power the wind tech. A generic fire ball isn't overpowering frs. Words from yamato himself

they have to be on the same level( or the fire tech being on a higher level than the wind) for the fire to overpower it.

True. Wind fuels the fire. It wouldn't make sense for the flames to be on top of the Rasenshuriken. If that was the case, the Rasenshuriken would still have spin at a very fast rate. Rep to you.

Obviously they wouldn't even go into detail about chakra ratio and state how what they did was hard even for an experienced duo, if it was merely fire overpowering wind.
