Possibility: Awakened due Shirui Genjutsu, Kotoamatsukami (forced to lie?)

Original User plot objective: Making his little brother, Sasuke, to live a living hell from the Uchiha Massacre until they fought to death. Curiously, Sasuke realized all this pain was an illusion, and then he realizes the source of the pain comes from other person.

I still don't know Madara's EMS power, nor Shisui's life experiences to deduce the relationship between their eyes and their life experiences.

It seems these things are pretty related, and that explains why Mangakyo Sharingan users abilities varies.

We only know that the Sharingan is narrowly related to the Brain, the nervous system and the fact that the levels achieved appears due emotional experiences related to love.

Any thoughts?

No, actually they earn their power all the way up until EMS but since you get that from another Uchiha its the same thing.

Itachi awakened not only Tsukuyomi. He awakened also Amaterasu and Susanoo. Btw, Itachi's awakening trigger to ms was Shisui's death.

story wise there aren't many uchiha around. and sharingan's come from them it's only natural to give kind of story to every eye.. itachi and his brother pain and sorrow itachi and shisui best friends obito and kakashi past team mates who gave naruto's way he follow etc--

I didn't say Sasuke is evil. I just said that Revenge was the trigger that awakened his MS. He wanted to take revenge against Danzou and Konoha, and now he "could" be seeking for Revenge against the late Uchiha Bloodline (Obito & Madara, the true artists behind the Uchiha Clan's Massacre). In essence, the Will of Fire talks about protecting your comrades and consider them as your own family. The Dark Will of Fire then would be what emerges from that love in the case you lose these comrades, that is, Revenge (after Hatred).

He would be truly evil if he really enjoyed people's suffering (something like when Sasuke was found by Sakura after the battle against Danzou, and he was laughing while talking about turning the laughs and joys to moans and suffering, or something alike, I don't remember well).

Sasuke was the specialist in that jutsu. Itachi couldn't control Amaterasu at Sasuke's level.

Itachi speciality was the Tsukuyomi. I know both Sasuke and Itachi had Amaterasu and plus Itachi had Tsukuyomi, but Amaterasu was Sasuke's speciality, Sasuke is able to create flames, give them shape, or turn them off, annd the lastest two are something that Itachi couldn't.

PS: Yes, I'm aware of Shisui's death. But I don't know the circumstances under which the awakening was triggered. Did Itachi watched Shisui's death? If he did, did Itachi kill him with his own hands? Or was it suicide? I really don't know and I prefer to put it as a possibility. The matter in question is "under which circumstances did Itachi awake his mangekyo sharingan". If we know that, we could know which is the true relationship between his Mangekyo Sharingan power and the awakening trigger.

I think this was the whole idea behind the plot relationship to the doujutsu.
