Hmm, if you say so. But the situation goes to hell when Deva decides to distort gravity and fly, thus following up with Chibaku Tensei.

Gai can jump really high in gates, and somehow maintain himself while in the air..not quite sure how, but I don't question the greatness that is Maito Gai.

Kakashi could deal with Chibaku Tensei via kamui...assuming Deva finds time to use it.

way to say what i just said lol

My bad, lol. I had this tab open for quite a while and only just then got around to typing my response..should have refreshed first.

No, I do not believe they can. Shinra Tensei is the worst possible match-up for a Taijutsu-Only Master like Maito Gai. It will make Tendo evade all his and Kakashi's Taijutsu attacks. In addition to that, almost all of Kakashi's arsenal as well. Kakashi and Gai have no counter to Chibaku Tensei. The only possible one is Kamui but I doubt that Kakashi can engulf the whole Chibaku Tensei in a Kamui. Presuming he can, he will have little to no chakra left and Pein will then stomp on Gai & Kakashi. Keep in mind, I'm trying to avoid Kakashi just using Kamui on Tendo right away.

I agree with this whole

While Gai can jump really high, I don't think he can get quite this high, not to mention Deva could probably ascend higher:

Kakashi could possibly Kamui the Chibaku Tensei, but I'm not quite sure if he was proficient enough with the technique back then to warp something of this size:

Remember Kakashi only warped the Hachibi because he had Kurama's chakra, which enhanced his Kamui to the point where it was 3X stronger than normal. To warp that would drain nearly all of his energy/stamina. Not to mention he would be affected by the gravitational pull created by the black orb.

Good points though.

He could using his turtle, just like he did vs Kisame in round 2:

He could probably go as high as he wanted to..just re-summon his turtle whenever he starts losing steam on his jump.

Chibaku Tensei doesn't start out that big, though. It's actually small to start out, then will reach that size once it's collected a good bit of material. It's hard to judge how big of an object Kakashi could warp during Pain Invasion arc, but he claimed he could have took out Kakuzu, who was a rather large man, especially when using his hearts were on his shoulders.

Chibaku tensei starts out like this..given KAkashi would notice everything being drawn to it, he could take it out pretty quickly.

But I honestly doubt Deva having enough time to use Chibaku Tensei.

Plus, unless my memory fails me, Deva Path wasn't close enough to Nagato when he was fighting Kakashi to use it. I could be misremembering that, but it sounds right..so if we're going off "It's Kakashi/Gai vs Deva in the same spot/same length away from NAgato's body", chibaku tensei isn't even an issue for them.

I don't think a location was specified by the OP though. If Deva is that high up, by the time Gai reaches him the five second interval will have passed and he can use Shinra Tensei to send Gai right back down. If Deva is on the ground when he uses Chibaku Tensei, then he can use his Universal Pull to interfere with Kakashi using Kamui on the Chibaku Tensei, resulting in a scenario such as this:

By the time Kakashi got a chance to Kamui the technique, depending on his condition, the landscape will have already started to be affected, since it doesn't take long to take effect:

Deva Path takes this IMO. Although the fight can essentially go both ways.

Pain doesn't have knowledge on kamui and even if he did guy would back him up

Intel aside, he does know of Mangekyou Sharingan. If he sees Kakashi with a Mangekyou activated, looking up at the Chibaku Tensei then common sense would tell him that Kakashi is planning to do something to the technique. Gai isn't helping Kakashi if he gets affected with the Universal Pull too, which I don't see why Deva couldn't use it with both hands.

Reason why this is a set up thread for pain lovers if One is fooled.

1. Host/Author is name Kakashisquad

2. Two Kakashi lovers are arguue about the same person for the same person quote above. One was waiting for a counter but the couter was showing love to for Gai and Kakashi

3. This vs thread was called could he take him without calling it vs so it won't be deleted. (Vs section doens't get much views because it is hidden)

4. It says Deva pain only what a Handcap

5. Look at most people name in this thread or pictures avtars/sigs

:) Set up thread

Yes, with Guys speed he'll knock him out before his interval.
