Gonna have to go with the Celtics. Doc is gone. Pierce is gone. Garnett is gone. Ray been left. Now the team is full of scrubs with expiring contracts.

Rondo can't carry them by himself.

Thoughts?

Celtics, they're gonna need a couple years to rebuild their team.

Celtics clearly. But the real question is what does the Oh Flawless One have to say about this?

Definitely the Celtics.. Looks like they are in full swing team rebuild mode. They finally agreed with themselves that they aint winning any more championships anytime soon and that's why they traded Pierce, Garnett, and Terry for sh*t... cap space. Best of luck to the Celtics, i feel for the fans, as a Kings fan, i remember the glory years and then how it all slowly fell apart :'(

I agree, i don't think the Lakers will be able to get any championships soon either, they'll have to face the fact that "maybe its time for us to rebuild" very soon. Sure all the rumors about Kobe coming back are out there but no one knows for sure but Kobe how he'll feel after coming back and whether he'll be enough for the Lakers to compete in the playoffs.

Sad to see the era of Celtics v. Lakers coming to an end, but that's what happens... sad truth.

Too early to tell but if I were to guess I would say the Celtics are probably going to have a rougher year. All their star players besides Rondo are gone along with their great coach Doc.

Lakers will have a better season IF Nash, Gasol, and Bryant (At least by Christmas) are healthy. Even if Dwight Howard leaves Pau can be a good 5 and Nash was pretty much a shell of himself I at least expect better offense out of him. Kobe's gonna be Kobe and get 25/5/5 and they'll have Hill at C coming off the bench so they won't be thin there.

1 - Nash
2 - Kobe
3 - Metta/Earl (if they keep Metta)
4 - Earl/Antwan
5 - Pau

The only way I see the Celtics being better is if Jeff Green goes insane like he did against the Heat in that one game but all season. Who knows maybe it happens with Rondo but I feel like the Celtics are almost tanking for the 2 studs at the top next year. I know Philly is.

Lakers still have cards to work with if they lose Dwight Howard. Man....I know he would stay if The Lakers brought "The Zen Master" Phil Jackson back to coach. Mike D'Antoni doesn't know how to use two big centers (Gasol/Howard) on the field at the same time. I don't know why...

Rajon Rondo is all alone. Left high and dry. That's unfortunate...poor guy. Celtics are in trouble.
