Also, when zabuza puts up the mist, kimimaro can just atack in all directions with that jutsu that grows bones of the floor.

Fodder Pain? WTF? Every Pain body is jounin level, except the animal and deva, who are easily Kage level corpses.

And Kakashi wanted to protect his gennin fodder students, that's why Zabuza was able to surprise him.

I'm sick of that pathetic excuse. Kakashi wasn't distracted. Wether or not the genin were there or not Zabuza would get the mist up either way. Anyways, Kakashi copied Zabuza's Water Clone and had the clone talk to the genin to trick Zabuza and try to lure him in. Zabuza, with his enhanced hearing, sensed the clone so made another clone hidden in the mist and then tricked Kakashi with it.
