Instead of having a debut at World Hobby Fair or Tokyo Game Show, Pokémon is big enough to get it’s own game show. Attendees will get to play Pokémon Tretta (an arcade game), the Pokémon Card Game, and be among the first to play Pokémon X and Pokémon Y before the games come out in October.

Pokémon Game Show will take place on August 17 and 18th at Tokyo Big Sight. More information about the show will be released in the middle of July.

You used to go into the world without a clue what the story entailed. Now we have spoilers, teasers, Pokemon are revealed even before the game, making it easy to plot your journey.
