it was stated that the ribcage susanoo is a stronger defense than Gaara's sand. Tsunade shattered Madara's Susanoo, this means she can easily shatter Gaara's defense as well.

But the Kazekage obv. wins the battle. Tsunade can't dodge his attacks forever.

Punching through sand is not the same as punching through Susanoo.

Like KidGamer65 said, punching the sand isn't the same as piercing throught it, but that wasn't my point. My point was that when Gaara does that, Tsunade nor Sakura won't be able to reach him since he would be up in the air out of their range.
