[Nintendo DS] Need help with pokemon white/heartgold transfer

So 3 weeks ago i started with my pokemon heartgold journey and finished it.. Then i started on pokemon white and i've just heard that you can transfer your pokemon heartgold pokemon to your pokemon white game and use them there.. I just bought a second nintendo 3ds for my lil bro.. That one is new and does not have the heartgold save game.. The one with the heartgold save game is my own 3ds xl. I want to play pokemon white (with heartgold pokemon) on my own 3ds xl.. So how do i do it? XD gonna rep + any useful info. Thanks.

to my knowledge, you cant transverse pokemon game saves only pokemon

but i may be wrong since a 3ds is new

Me and my sister just did this. Really It's just like transferring them back and forth like the older game. Leave your White version in your 3DS and put your Heart Gold into your brothers. The Heartgold save file isn't on the 3DS hard-drive, It's saved to that game specifically so you should have no problems playing It on your bros or yours.

Granted I didn't understand your question very well, do you ned to know how to transfer pokemon from game to game using a 3DS? Or are you confused on if you can play your game on another DS. Little more info so I can help better?

There is another option that is easier It's called the Poke Transfer It's just like he PalPark in earlier games and It's located kinda far into the game. You won't be able to trade them until you get the National pokedex. Since they are from separate generations. SO If you just started white, you got a longgg way to go before you can lol. It's actually a very very long process. You have to turn off the 3D on one of the games, It's complicated.

That's much easier going from the same generation. Ever played the older games and hooked up with a cable? Just go to any pokemon center upper floor and do It like usual lol. White to white 2 is just easy, white in on DS White 2 in another and there ya go. Make sure you talk to the 2nd lady at the same time tough otherwise It wont work. I"m pretty sure to do this you only need 1 badge. The only reason you would have to go too the Poketransfer is if you are importing pokemon from a completely different generation. (Say Soul Silver, Diamond/Pearl)

I don't see why you haven't been able too. Since Heart Gold was made before 2006 you shouldn't have a problem with that. You may just have to reconfigure the settings in with your Heart Gold on the system it's self. I had to reconfigure my network settings when this happened to me. Pain in the butt developers.

It's a little tough but normally you can find Step by Step directions to do that on the 3DS support website. I would try googling it, to get into here on NB would be nuts LOL.
