I think obito will either use izanagi or something else will save obito. however,madara will succeed to become alive again.tsunade sakura and karin will heal obito. obito cant die yet because he has to talk with minato,he will see naruto is saving the world. he will probably die after rinne tensei on alliance.
he will tell sasuke whatsoever.

Maybe now that his Kamui is gone, he will finally start using the Rinnegan and turn on Madara.

I definitely agree that Obito won't die without resolution in the form of some words from Minato.

Hopefully his death won't be hopeless. I feel like he'll somehow sabotage Madara's plans on the way out. His criminal status and wrongs done to the world infinitely exceed those of Sasuke's, so this is really all he can do to redeem himself.

Kakashi is putting a lot of emphasis on Naruto as an example, so I think that once Minato passes on the other half, Obito will see that Naruto is undoubtedly the savior.

I still want to know why he helped Sasuke so much.

He could have easily activated it before he left the Kamui Dimension.
No one as of right now can say for sure if he did, or did not activate Izanagi.
