[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 636 Discussion and 637 Predictions

Kakashi's bullsht about the current Obito and the old one hugely implies that Obito won't die anytime soon.. probably not until he turns good (becomes the old one again) and has done something useful to the allies. Madara betrayed him after all, and I don't think he will let himself be wasted like that (Rin will give him a power boost to pull off something outta his a$$). The fact that his sensei is there will also help.

Reminds me of the character Mitsui from the anime Slam Dunk. He turned back to his old self upon seeing his coach. Obito and Mitsui are about 90% similar, appearance and actions.

Why do people think Kakashi is weak? He's a sharingan user who can warp Bijuus for ****'s sake.

He lost to Itachi in 1 shot, then what? Is there a character in these series who doesn't lose to Itachi? Kishimoto would never have Itachi lose to anyone unless it's some sort of sacrifice, it's the most plot protecter character in the series next to Naruto.

I even heard bullshit on how Sakura could solo Kakashi, please keep making my day. Kakashi is very intelligent, smarter than Obito and highly skilled in basic techniques (kunai, backstabs, speed), he's in no way a weak character. He was to be the next Hokage when Danzo died, after all.

Now Madara needs to die because he's a moron and a bad final antagonist.

The title of the chapter ("the current Obito")implies that Obito is is somehow different from what he is normally, or when he's not in that dimension.

Kikashi diagnosed this as he is a great analyzer of battle situations/opponents, and made his move. I agree with those that have said Obito cannot use his techs in that place.

Would be cool if Naruto and his dad team up for some attacks in later chapters.

This was a setup chapter with some decent foreshadowed twists. 4/5 imo.

Well it was a great chapter with lot of progression.
But I think Kishi is kinda rushing it :/
Anyways, I just can't undestand this: How can Obito survive an explosion and fight with half his body and only 1 arm against Konan whereas against Kakashi he's rolling near death out of his kamui dimension just by a stab ?

From I am the dark, to I am a minion who can't even beat Kasaki one on one( Tobi Obito is the worse manga villain ever). That why I love where Kishi seem to be going, with the Sasuke plot, to make Sasuke a true boss on Naruto(even more a Boss than Madara), because even if Nagato & Itachi was problemly the greatest characters on Naruto manga, they both wasn't a true boss or evil boss. Madara is true evil boss, just like Oroachimaru and Sasuke will become not evil boss but just a boss(which most people can't tell the different's), but like Madara & Oroachimaru would do and kill anyone for selfish reason. Sasuke will do the same to who every try to stop his objective to make the world a better place.

Madara will successfully force Obito to use Rinne Tensei but Obito will use it on Rin instead. In his final moments before dying from using rinne tensei he will see Rin crying over him dying.

Pretty obvious if you ask me, but who knows how it'll turn out?

I can definitely see him surviving this and maybe even becoming the final villain (as unlikely as it seems atm).

I know. But this chapter right here, aw man. You talk about Backstabbing-No-Jutsu, well, you got it. But we don't know if Obito will be the final villain. I bet Madara is. But you're right about Obito.

wasn't a great chapter not sure if i will give it a 3 or 4. The fight scene between obito and Kakashi was reused. no new fighting that was a bit of a let down. I expected kakashi to defeat obito since they enter the kamui dimesion. Tobi was lame imo. when it was revealed Tobi was obito I had a glimmer of hope other than the six paths he nothing to impress me. Kabuto really did more work in this war. Obito was has and will be a tool for Madara to use since obito agreed to have a Zetsu ( madara's will) merge with his body. I doubt he will die though. These last few chapters will probably much better in the Anime. Its rare that I feel that way.

Omgosh... What the heck. I want to say this was an awesome chapter because I've been waiting for it for SO LONNGG!! But what even happened??? Kakashi?! Obito?! Meeeh. :'(

Kishi is trying to wrap this up way too fast. He should hire some of the people who write the user predictions, cuz some of those are way more epic.

EDIT: But I have to say, where he's going with Sasuke looks totally awesome.

Madara has been epicly clever in this, he has had Obito truly believing he was in control, I bet Obito never thought in a million years that Madara could have rigged his body when he first saved him, Madara has played it and him brilliantly XD

Turns out Obito had no choice, he was Madara's fodder from the start. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Madara who set up the whole Rin/San-bi jinchuriki affair.

i gave it a 2, it was way to short, so waht did madara take control or is trying to take control obito, madaras trying to make obito use the same thing as nagato did to give everyine back life, so madras trying to make obito do it so he gets his real body back, so that means obito will die, i hope something changes hopefully kakashi will come out and maybe save obito and maybe make obito good again, if that happens if obito gets saved n becomes good then u know sasuke will turn eveil again n team up with madara or sasuke will become the jincuriki of the 10tails

So Madara pulled something out of his ass again.

Well Madara did transform half of White Zetsu into Black Zetsu, so it makes sense that he could turn Obito's White Zetsu side to Black Zetsu.

Overall, mixed feeling about this chapter. Obito was defeated too easily, and he's been the main antagonist for how long?
