where the hell in the manga is it that obito got his rennigan from? and why wouldn't he have taken both instead of just 1? if they are infact from pain. I did a lot of searches and all i can find is this

pain got his eyes from madara body.......

and obito got his rennigan eye from pains body.....

That's a big misconception. Nagato got his eyes by Madara without knowing that they came from him. This is why he was the first recruited member by Obito. He wanted one of each to make It more powerful I guess. I mean If he has both powerful eye techniques more scarier that way....

We never see Madara give Nagato his Rinnegan, and Obito only took one Rinnegan so he could still use Kamui, he just replaced his blind sharingan with one of Nagato's eyes because he used Izanagi against Konan

It's not hard to understand if you have been reading the manga... Madara got the Rinnegan, then gave it to Nagato to hold for him without him knowing right before he died. Nagato died later, and only Konan knew where he was buried so Tobi fought Konan in order to find out where he was and in the process used Izanagi which made him go blind in one of his eyes, so after he killed Konan and found Nagato he only took one Rinnegan so he could still have his Mangekyo Sharingan in his other eye and replaced his blind eye with the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan is extremely important to Madara because he needed/needs it to be revived.
