A common misconception amongst many Bleach fans is that if an Arrancar has been ranked higher than another Arrancar, then automatically if they fight the one who is high ranked would win. Espada are ranked upon their strength and that is all. The problem is fights don't entirely depend on strength. But rather stamina, speed and intelligence.
I'll be honest, if Zommari [#7] and Nnoitra [#5] ever fight; Zommari would easily win. Not only can Zommari easily dodge Nnoitra's attacks using Sonido [He is the fastest Arrancar], Zommari could easily use Amor on the reckless Nnoitra. Amor is relatively fast considering the fact that even Byakuya failed to dodge it.
Similar could be said about Ulquiorra [#4] and Harribel [#3]. To be honest, Harribel doesn't stand a chance against Ulquiorra's Lanza del Relámpago, Cero Oscuras and Luz de la Luna. Ulquiorra's healing abilities are the best amongst the Espada and he is a great strategist as well.
A fight between Starrk [#1] and Barragan [#2] would be fun to watch. Many say Barragan has no counter for Cero Metralleta but many have forgotten that by using Senescencia, Barragan can slow down time and then using Sonido, he can easily dodge the Cero. We have all seen Barragan being able to control time and thus pointing his palm towards Soi Fong and appearing behind her. The Wolves used by Starrk could be easily dealt by using Respira.
As far as Starrk [#1] and Yami [#0] and Barragan [#2] and Yami [#0] is concerned, we all know who would win. Yami's large body would easily be destroyed by Starrk's Cero Metralleta. Barragan would simply go beneath Yami and use Respira.
