Intereating theory mate but you see those spikes in the mist ninja massacre are white zetsu cells/material, and the ones shown at the end of chapter 636 are black zetsu material, so no those ninjas death where the result of Obiot witnessing Rins his loves death simple as mate.

I do think that madara had his hand in this. Since his transmitter rod is stuck in a hashirama clone, and zetsus transmit signal really fast through the roots. In the ground, the signal could be transmitted from the hashi clone to obitos zetsu friend. Madara controlled zetsu, and obito was freaking out. He awakened his ms when his emotions got crazy, and unknowingly he used kamui on himself and zetsu.
