Let me start this off by saying by no means do I think Kakashi is in any shape or form weak. However, Obito was said to be one of if not the strongest living shinobi, yet Kakashi defeated him with a few kunai clashes and some brief memories. I expected a much lengthier, more detailed, and more epic battle where through much difficulty Kakashi would save Obito by killing him. However, the battle was short and before I knew it Kakashi had one and Madara was essentially raping Obito's defeated body. Was I the only disappointed by the Kakashi vs Obito battle?

Definitely. Kakashi is definitely not weak but Obito didn't use Mokuton and couldn't use Kamui. Kakashi had it easy, especially when it came to taijutsu since Obito uses Kamui for taijutsu while Kakashi is very skilled in taijutsu. Also Obito has been fighting for a long time without his chakra getting replenished. It's safe to assume that Obito was low on chakra and stamina already

I'm not dissapointed at all. It was a fine battle.

Obito was one of the strongest shinobis in the real world when he was able to use the versatile ability of the Kamui, but inside its dimension Obito can't make use of the partial-body projection.

This battle only answered the question if Obito was really a good shinobi without making use of its Sharingan abilities.

In the other hand, Kakashi demonstrated that even copying techniques, he had determination, he was more intelligent than Shikamaru, he had better sniffing ability than Kiba, he could even open some of the Hashimon Tonkou Gates... Kakashi wasn't a Sharingan spammer as Obito was.

No I don't think so. And I'm not disappointed either. Obito did not have the ability to use kamui to avoid physical attacks therefore he and Kakashi were on an equal playing field. Obito may have been one of the strongest ninja, but without this ability he is vulnerable.

This battle has been going on now for multiple chapters. How much longer did it need to be? Frankly I'm glad this is over. We can move on to Hashi/Madara.

While Kakashi did wound him seriously it will be Madara who is responsible for killing Obito by making him use rinnei tensei on him.

I am disgusted by this battle. It was complete bullshit, if I'm honest I wanted Obito to kill Kakashi and then have his change of heart but Kakashi won that battle way to easily. It was an insult to this build up of an ultimate badass character who is supposed to be supremely strong. Why give him a ****ing rennigan if he'll never ****ing use it?

The question is if Obito really could use the Rinnegan in the Kamui dimension...

Not exactly.
Theyre in a kamui dimension with 2 kamui users and 1 is skilled in taijutsu and the another is not. Obito cant use kamui. Even in kamui dimension sakura can trash obito

I don't see why being in another dimension should make a difference to his ability to use a rennigan or even his sharingan to predict Kakashi's movements, or even just kill him while he was in the genjutsu. There were too many ways for Obito to actually win, yet instead he lost in such a trivial way.

No, it made sense. Obito was weak by this point, he had fought Naruto, Bee, and done all that shit with the Jubi. Anyone would be weak after that.

Remember, this is war. Its not about one vs. one, its about a collective vs. another collective. Kishi isn't thinking about trying to prove one character is stronger than another, he just wants a good story.

The problem here isn't about that. it's about Kakashi saying, hey, you're my friend i'll preserve your memory by killing you and does so without much of a fight and barely an injury. Obito should have at least had his chakra replenished to make this a real fight, an honorable fight with an honorable death. There was no honor in what I just saw, there was no dignity. it was just cold hear-ted bullshit.

Let's wait and see. Obito still can be saved.

Fear not. When this chapter is produced in the anime, I have a feeling that there may be some additions to the fight, producing longevity and greater satisfaction amongst us viewers.
