So this moment has lost its meaning just like that?! We expected a Naruto Vs Obito showdown from this. Yet, Obito gets killed off Before Naruto can go one on one! All of Naruto's epics speeches, and he doesn't get the chance to prove that he can beat Obito by himself!

Now we'll never know if Naruto could beat Obito or not (I think so due to shadow clones backing him up, it's plot that he didn't). This isn't related to story, but, now there will be troll threads saying Kakashi is the solo king for beating Obito. Oh well, at least I'm going to make Obito the jinchuriki in my fanfiction.


There is an up-side to all of this. This means that Naruto has to have his buff soon if everyone's going to survive Madara with the 10 tails.

OP, Obito was representing Madara/Madara's will when he faught Minato. Naruto will have his time to aid drastically, or perhaps even defeat Madara later on. The "One who will bring peace to the shinobi world" / "Child of prophecy" still hasn't had his defining moment.
