Yes, I made a rant thread just a while ago, sue me.

It's pretty sad what's going on with obito right now. He lost the love of his life at a very young age to his best friend. What's worse is that it happened in both senses. The love of his life loved his best friend, and his best friend killed his love(I know rin jumped infront, but he probably didn't at that exact time). That's enough to tramatically shock anyone and want them to leave such a cruel world of death.

As nagato said, young shinobi don't know war. They don't know about death and pain so they believe that their friends cannot die.

For a youngster to see that pain. For him to see someone so precious to him die, especially as an uchiha, would have been very hard on him. Worst so that he gave his life for this person but now his sacrifice was thrown in vein. Sure, Later on he may have learnt the truth, but at that moment, something had already broken in him. Like nagato, he had too much pain and could no longer leave it. But, unlike nagato, he didn't have someone to save him(naruto) when he had a chance to be saved. Obito fell into hate and wanted to stop the cycle of revenge and killing by force. It was all because of his love that he did this and he started this war.

Skip forward to the present and obito is in a rematch with his oldest rival and best friend. The man who stole his love away in both senses. The man he always looked on from behind and who was always better than him. Obito had so much power and he had a chance to redeem himself, but even after all these years, kakashi's skill still far exceeded his. Time changed nothing and obito still fell short of his old rival in a traditional kumite.

What's sad is that he can no longer see his plans through. Nothing he wanted to accomplish could be accomplished now. He was never able to surpass his rival. He became the most hated man. His 'comrade' is about to kill him to initiate the final stages of the plan, and with this, he will never be able to see Rins face in the dream world. Reading those last few pages, of the latest issue, is touching and it somewhat makes you feel sorry for the guy.

He died a complete failure in life... His final moments spent in suffering and pain... Used, then discarded like trash...

...it really is sad.

Tobi was a great villain and I am sure he will not die just yet he will die a Hero. A hero once who was willing to die for his friends. So don't be hasty in make a thread you are underestimating his will. He will overcome the odds and die a hero.

Obito dying like that would just ruin the plot IMO.

No kidding if that happened to someone in real life he would go mad.Obito showed excellent jutsus and tactics a worthy opponent for Kakashi,it is sad what happened between him and Kakashi and Rin.

Nah... it's the only way to progress the plot... We already see juubi isn't even a match anymore. Only thing left is for Jin-Madara. Jins are stronger than individual tailed beasts, therefore giving SA a really tough opponent. Imagine, it takes entiire SA to fight juubi. And, it'd take entire SA to fight Edo madara. Imagine that OP force when madara combines with it. Madara would literally be So6p. Juubi Jin, Rinnegan, senju and uchiha. There's actually nothing more for him to gain to be So6P as this is what we have of what So6P had. Infact, i think this is what kishi is going for. The entire ninja world fighting against 'So6P' to fight for peace. But, ofcourse he can't bring back the literal rikudo, so he makes a new one.

Err... I really just dislike his overration where people make up feats for him and make up feats for kamui and discard kamui's weaknesses. Kamui is the same reason i started disliking kakashi. But, really, the biggest impact was high strong kishi was making him seem for this to happen. TBh i guess it was our fault since he was never really shown to be all that powerful, he was just getting more and more of the OP abilities out there.

Yes, Yes, We know the solo king solos. No one doubts his power :erm:

yet. Unless he gets a massive resolve boost and motivation from dwelling on Rins memories, then unlocking some new ability i don't see him stopping madara from making him kill himself. For that matter, the only thing left for him is to turn against madara and join SA. There's no more need for him on the bad side as madara's said, so he's most likely going to;
A) Die
B) Unlock some new sharingan abilitiy (elder sons eyes?) and join up with SA to defeat juubi and madara.

But, B is highly unlikely.

Yea, but it's still appreciating his character seeing as alot of people hate him atm. Just a moment of silence for a guy who had a dream but he never got to even see his dream through.

Agreed there is no way Kishi is gonna kill him off like that.

Because of him Minato and Kushina are dead. He ruled Kiri via genjutsu on a perfect Jin for years.

Yes, but that's in respect to seeing his goal out which was pretty much the reason for every single thing he did. No matter all what he accomplished there, he still never got to even see out any of his goals such as the moons eye plan. At least dying after doing it would have made him die somewhat successfully.

Before he dies, I reckon he will do something to screw up Madara's plan and leave the rest to Naruto. I just hope Kakashi and Minato will be able to forgive him.
