I posted this after chapter 605 and was told it was just wood but look at my theory again!

Anyone notice the black rods sticking out of obito/zetsu's body in this page:

Looks like the same as when nagato synching to gedo mazo

and in 6 paths of pain/tobi jutsu.

Could some1 be controlling zetsu/tobi?

What do you think?

hmm this could mean that maybe Nagato was too controlled by madara or obito. he had 2 fail safe... either nagato or obito was supposed to bring him back.

They're chakra rods used to control an inanimate body or disturb one's Chakra so it's likely. Maybe the black half (the more serious half) represented Madara and the white half (a bit more lighthearted) represented Obito? Or the two halves represented the two halves of "Tobi"? I dunno...I'm tired, haha.:gn:

Madara is enacting his will (which he had implanted in Obito when he gave him a half-Zetsu body. Remember the black Zetsu was Madara's will.) on Obito to force him to use the Rinne Tensei on Madara. That's all.
