Are you independent enough?

Hi everyone, some might says, he or she can live all by themselves, not needing anyone else in their lives. They said they can do everything on their own. But sometimes, or i rather says, every single time, they forgot something....

1) Cant live without air
2) Cant live without water
3) Cant live without food
4) Cant live without entertainment (regardless how lame that is)
5) Cant live without good weather
6) etcetera.....etc...etc

My point is, no one is dependent enough of themselves. We ALWAYS need something or at least someone. Dependency came in various of form and terms, no matter how dependent you would think you are, actually you are not. No matter how logically your thinking are, you are still clinging to others whether you like it or not. Anyone disagree?

tks for clearing that up, actually im writing this as a response to certain group of people that claimed they're independent enough to "decide" anything on their own using their logic thinking

You know, people usually attribute Independence as 100% self-sustainable through the struggles of society, not pointing out the physiological need of Maslow's Pyramid of Self-Actualization.

Yes, we cannot live without the needs of the body, but that does not mean being able to obtain it individually doesn't count as Independence.

That being said, very few people are able to actually be 100% self-sustainable. We all get our needs from another branch of society. That's why some Biologists refer to humans as Omnivores AND Scavengers, because quite a few of us do not hunt or grow our own food. Hell, I don't think even 8% of the world gather their own water!

You are confusing being independent with being a lone wolf (actually you are going even more extreme, not lone wolf, but alone in the world lol). Functioning in a society doesn't prevent you to be independent.
