Why naruto getting rinnegan would be lame.

1. It's played out.
2. He's only 50% Uzamaki, so he would be half as powerful as nagato was. So there would be no point.
3. I don't really see anyway it would happen. Obito isn't giving up those eyes anytime soon, and naruto is damn sure not unlocking it.

The only acceptable way is if naruto becomes the Juubi Jin.
But even then, I want him to express a different kind of power. But still have rinnegan to help him stay alive.

How is him being 50 percent Uzumaki making his weaker than Nagato? He's a Jinchuriki host, therefore being a Dojutsu+Jinchuriki host would amplify the power EVEN MORE. He has more chakra, stronger techs on top of the Rinnegan and can probably use the techs on a larger scale because of his Bijuu levels of chakra+Kurama.

I agree. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Rin'negan a highly-advanced form of the Sharingan? Naruto is not at all Uchiha, so it would be impossible for him to acquire them on his own. Not to mention, [in Nagato's case] Madara gave Nagato the Rin'negan...hence, Madara acquired the Rin'negan, not Nagato. Nagato only got them 'cuz he was the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths or some shit.

The rinnegan came from the juubi, the sage had it after he became the jinchuriki, when he had 2 sons one son had a sharingan the other had the life force. hence forth if naruto becomes the juubi jinchuriki he will have the rinnegan.
