Like other Mokuton moves it can likely sap chakra. In addition, there was probably several unseen moves it had with those thousand hands. It's a heavy but blunt attack that at its best works as an amazing Defense due to its size...and likely its durability.

it's THE best defensive n offensive tech i've seen so far in naruto ...it was able to withstand TBB n ripped off madara's PS in a short while after being summoned(not lik kuchiyose) ...such a cool tech. ..all other jutsu's pales infront of it IMO
