I agree that Obito is way too whiny to be villain. He's an awful villain. I really hope Orochimaru has something planned, but Kakashi cannot win. Obito has been established to be a very, very powerful ninja. Also, before he dies Minato and Sasuke need to confront him

Kakashi and Obito are equal when he's inside Kamui. Obito's main power comes from phasing in and out. If he can't do that he's not so haxed. He has one sharingan and part of the rinnegan's abilities. His rinnegan seems to be useless now. We've seen no great phenomenal feat. Obito was able to do without Kamui.

Besides Kish wouldn't let Obito die so easily not would he do that to Kakashi. Kakashi is Naruto's first main teacher. He'd kill a Kakashi, Kakashi would go out epic like Jiraiya. He wouldn't give him the Asuma death.
