[Discussion] Kempachi > Byakuya right?

I like Byakuya more than Zaraki, but at this point it's hard to argue that he's stronger.

Zaraki and Byakuya were already close to each other before Zaraki's training with Unohana.
Since then he's:

• Broken free from his mental restraints - this means he was never at 100% in any of his previous battles
• Begun communication with his zanpaktou - this means he can actually learn and use his zanpaktou's Shikai

You mean to tell me that you people think:
Byakuya can beat Zaraki at full power, no eye patch, two hands, and knowing his zanpaktou's name? I don't think so.


Byakuya's currently recovering at the Reiokyu and is unknown weather or not he'll get any power ups, but at this point anyone who says Byakuya is stronger is a fanboy who can't think logically.

From what i seen....Byakuya is stronger, but i don't how strong kenpachi is with his Bankai now.

I don't think byakuya will be able to cut kenpachi's reiatsu (considering his eye-patch removed, as that's his own power), even with bankai unleashed. Forget about kenpachi's bankai. But, where pride matters, byakuya is always ahead.

I agree after kenpachi fought unohana his mental restraints are gone besides in the battle between them kenpachi was stronger than byakuya by a lot and now since he has banki he'll kill him no problem, I'm no fanboy of kenpachi byakuya is my fave but I'm stating the obvious here!=D

Nope not best swordsman, the title is given to the shinigami who loves fighting the most and has the strongest bloodlust.
Someone could be a better swordsman than Kenpachi but dislikes fighting.

Edit: And for the record Kenpachi hasn't got Bankai yet he just learned the name of his Zanpakuto he'll unlock Shikai soon.
If he has Bankai it can be stolen, Kenpachi's greatest edge in this fight is he has that much power w/o Bankai.
Also Kenpachi is stronger than Byakuya but Byakuya is smarter, however I don't see Byakuya being able to win with strategy.

No it is the title given to the captain who loves fighting the most or who has the strongest bloodlust. If it were to the strongest captain then Yamamoto would have been Kenpachi. It just goes to the most "violent" so to speak, the one who wants to fight the most.

Both Byakuya and Zaraki never fought Aizen .. thats an interesting thing to see ...
IMO .. both have good potential against Aizen ...

Byakuyas Shikai and Bankai are very flexible ... and hes one of the finest Shunpo user ( I bet only second to Yoroichi) .

Zaraki ... his fighting spirit is awsome .. and one thing I remember when Tosen used his Bankai against him ... He did pretty well ... so his fighting sense is somewhat counters Illusions ...

ummm .. well u cant say that yet ... I think .. Zaraki is like Ichigo ( surely zaraki dint know his blades name which is kinda illogical to have shikai ) but ... I believe his blade is always in a shikai released state until now ( like ichigoes was ) ...
So .. maybe this time it will release bankai after knowing his sword name .
