Tsukuyomi can't kill

It has never been shown that tsukuyomi can kill. Everytime it was used, the opponent survived. Some like Kakashi were even able to still continue to stand and talk for a while before collapsing definitely some time after

Young Sasuke(during the uchiha massacre) didn't even collapsed at all(well for a second). Now i know the excuse will come "Itachi never tried to kill his opponents". But problem is manga and databook confirms that Tsukuyomi can't kill. The working of the jutsu was clearly described

Unfortunately, narutobase blocked links coming from narutoforums, but here is what the databook says about tsukuyomi

Namely, this means inside the genjutsu, the physical world's common sense is completely irrelevant and opposing the caster is impossible. Somebody caught into the Tsukuyomi find themselves into a strange world of infinity, their fate entirely lying inside the caster's hands. Some time, they will undergo the torments of Hell, and some other time, they will be repeatedly shown a horrendous, hellish picture of agony and mayhem*, with no idea of when either of those will end. As a result, the poor prisoner can only wait until the collapse of their psyches...!!

Tsukuyomi is a jutsu that makes the prisoner's spirit collapse by showing torments of hell or some things like this. You can verify and you'll notice databook never stated tsukuyomi could kill people

Now in the manga, Zetsu(a neutral one who didn't care about the outcome of the fight), that since Sasuke ate tsukuyomi, he won't be capable to move

Notice he didn't think Sasuke would die. He only stated that the fact he received Tsukuyomi, his body won't move anymore

Later again, all his concern was about how he didn't collapse after receiving tsukuyomi

Before some people post Kisame's statement from chapter 142, i'd like to point out that it was a translation error, and it's even more obvious when you notice that they spelled Uchiha with a "d" instead of a "h". The translation was really poor back then. I checked the official viz(again in narutoforums) and this is what is stated

Kakashi: (Thinking) Unh... I see... Three days in that realm and less than a moment passed in this one... Why not kill me? If he wanted to he could...
(Saying out loud) Ugh... It's still... affecting me...
Kisame: Hm....after all that the fool's spirit is intact...meanwhile you've overused those eyes of yours, you know that's dangerous.

So like you can see, tsukuyomi is a jutsu used more to cause a mental breakdown in the opponent's spirit. It's not meant to kill the opponent since it can't

Mhm, I agree. Tsukuyomi more or less breaks the will of the one stuck in the genjutsu and leaves them or attempts to, in a state similar to that of a coma. For some odd reason.

I doubt it will make too much of a change, the only thing that could change battle wise is that some characters are capable of enduring it if they have a strong enough will to either take extreme physical torture (Like Kakashi received) or extreme mental anguish (Like Sasuke received in Part 1).

Wooow, never noticed that. So all Tsukuyomi really does it break the psyche and doesn't go any farther than that. I guess it should be implied since it is genjutsu. And Tsukuyomi is still a badass jutsu, like you said it probably wouldn't make a big difference in battle.

I swear itachi didnt even do a full scale tsukyomi on kakashi? or sasuke for that matter. Anytime he has used it he has either held back or used it to aid. Its unfair to make a deduction without having ALL facts and overlooking some
