Exactly, it doesn't make sense. I don't think he will die again, it just doesn't fit the story IMO.

He was revived because of Obito. His last thing that he had to do was find a way to convince Obito to abandon The Eye of the Moon plan. Since I think he has failed this mission, there is no point in having him there now. He should just die, somebody has to die.
