After Aizen's defeat is the fullbringarc which is not really great as it is mostly just Ichigo becoming a shinigami again.
However following that is the Thousand Year Blood War arc which is badass.

To summarize (as you asked for an update). The Quincy race is back and they're pissed. They have gone to hueco mundo and destroyed it taking Tia Harribel hostage. Grimmjow is probably the only powerful person left there.
Next they believer a war declaration against the soul society by killing Sasikabe (Ysmmsmoto's lieutenant).
They then attack the Soul.Society. I'm pretty sure they killed Izuru (uses Wabiske and was Gin's lieutenant) as they blew a hole on him taking of an arm and destroying his heart.....anyways, to fight captains, the Quincy have found a way to steal Banksi.
End of the day, Yammamoto uses Banksi....rapes a clone of the Quincy ruler Juha Bach, but the real one shows up and Ysmmamoto dies. Ichigo's Banksi is broken by the second in command Quincy named Haschwald, and we learn that Ichigo is part Quincy....surprise surprise.
Shunsui becomes captain commander and gives the most retarded order in history....ordering The First Kenpachi Unohana Retsu to teach Kenpachi Zaraki the art of killing. As a result, they have Unohana (easily their strongest fighter) battle their likely third strongest fighter (Zaraki) in a death match to power up Zaraki. In short, Unohana and Zaraki fought in the past...apparently he able to keep up with her and actually push her....but he locked away his power after feeling fear for the first time....as such Unohana mercilessly kicks his ass for three days straight (killing and healing him) until finally he stabs her in the throat....it leaves off with her uncertain fate (probably RETARDEDLY dead), but now Zaraki can hear his sword.
At the same time, we find out a broken Banksi cannot be fixed, but needs to be remade. In comes the Zero Division. These are 5 Shinigami who protect the Soul King. And apparently them together are stronger than the Gotei 13. One of them can fix Ichigo's Banksi, but Ichigo must first return his house and learn about his Quincy mother and how Hollow Ichigo (Aizens creation or something) came to be within Ichigo.
We then find out that Old Man Zangetsu is actually Ichigo's Quincy.power and that it has only been holding back until eventually it started to help him.
Finally Ichigo's swords are re-made leaving him with a long sword and a short sword...though they look more like Butcher cleavers.
Final note...Ichigo's dad is from the Shiba Clan, and Uryu is apparently in the service of the Quincy forces or so it seems for now.
