Could've Izanami a great threat against Edo Madara and Obito?

This goes with the aspect that Izanami has you repeat an event until you have accepted the outcome. of how that event, iif Itachi was fighting along with Konan against Obito and activated it, can we say that Obito would have to accept the fate that he had to die?

Likewise, if Madara used Izanagi when Hashi stabbed him and Itachi was also there, could we expect the same thing of the above for Madara?

Then again, even the genjutsu skill of Itachi's Izanami may not be able to hold a candle against the skills of Madara's genjutsu.
