Itachi - strongest ninja he can beat / weakest ninja he would lose to???

it's obvious that he's not invincible (and this is coming from a huge fan)
he's just very strong and has some haxxed almost uncounterable jutsus like Izanami or Amaterasu
most people in NV would be fodderized by his base genjutsu
he's almost invincible but there are a few people who are stronger than him

who is the strongest ninja who can beat him and who is the weakest one he would lose to?

The reason why Itachi escaped hakugeki was because he was an edo, this move would solo Itachi under normal circumstances.

lets see, according to Itachi we know that he's weaker than Jirayia, therefor Jiraiya and all who are stronger than
him are stronger than Itachi. Which mean

Jman, Nagato, Pain, Minato (with or without Kurama's chakra), Naruto, Sasuke
Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Kabuto, Hiruzen (Prime). are stronger than Itachi.
and possible Tobirama is also stronger than him.

now people who can beat him or give him a run for his money are

A, 3rd Raikage, Mu, Onoki, Gaara, and Kakashi.
some of the other Akatsuki depending on how they will start.
