Hinata. Sakura has no original techs, she' just a Tsunade clone whereas Hinata is aiming to combine her lions fists with 64 palms. She's innovating, Sakura is imitating.

I believe Hinata and i just want to give my 2 cents on this little Hinata vs Sakura crap.
The only reason Sakura is stronger is because she had SANNIN of the leaf train her who is an expert in the medical field,also the Hokage, and not to mention a good fighter. Ofcourse the girl is going to be stronger than a girl who is trained by a kurenai who isn't even important to the plot. Hinata didn't have that chance. Lets not forget her little azz pull power- up, an don't tell me it isn't an azz pull. Sakura is getting these power ups out of no where, no foreshadowing or nothing besides her being tsunade's student. Kishimoto knew he was neglecting her character so he came up with that. Without that power-up sakura she would be nothing really besides the hospital nurse. Someone also stated Hinata gets her potential from a boy, lets not forget Naruto is a pretty inspirational person who changed even people like nagato, what is so wrong about getting your drive from someone you look up to, love and admire. I'm not saying Sakura doesn't have any potential but i say Hinata has more. I'm done.

though it doesn't really matter since everyone used to be fodder in part1 except Kimimaro Naruto Sasuke (because of their bloodlines/kyuubi) and a few jounins like Kakashi Orochimaru and Jiraiya

Hinata was "Born" w/ More Potential
Byakugan and all that def. gives her a more expection room to grow powerful and excel- which she did become more stronger

HOWEVER,

Sakura grew and did work from nothing[As in No Special Clan power/ or anything. She was just a smart girl and thats it]

to become where she is now. And in the end, Sakura is a better kunoichi than Hinata

Once again, Naruto is a pretty inspirational who she loves and admires, there is nothing wrong with getting your drive to be like them and improve yourself. Someone also said sakura got her drive from watching Tsuande heal sasuke, nothing wrong with that either. You saw someone heal someone, and realized you want to be that to.
I gave you all that and all you say is whatever. Proves to me how much you have no clue what your talking about.

This needs to be done for all those saying Sakura's Taijutsu is greater.. as you can see in part one Sakura was bad in everything but being smart and Genjutsu and hand seals. Sure when part 3 came around Sakura's stat's went up majority. Even after training with the kage her Taijutsu is still weaker than Hinata though.

If both had the SAME teacher, there's a good chance that Hinata would have been stronger than Sakura. A great teacher makes all the difference. Where would J-man be without Lord Fukasaku teaching him sage mode? Also, Tsunade utilized Sakura's ability to control chakra and turned her into what she is now. Kurenai is predominantly known for her genjutsu, but how does that even work with Hinata's byakugan? Granted, I would have liked her to take after her sensei, giving her skills in both taijutsu and genjutsu.

So what Hinata is from a clan and Sakura isn't she still doesn't have any potential at all. So what she has the Byakugan and the clans techniques she still lack potential. Sakura isn't from a clan and she has potential and she is far stronger than Hinata you can't just say Hinata is b/c I know you don't like Sakura but what I'm saying is the truth and you know it. Being in a clan doesn't mean your strong and have potential its when you possess unique abilities and Hinata may be in a clan and possess some abilities but she was deemed as a failure by her father and can't even beat her little sister. Sakura has far out surpass her and again she isn't even in a clan and she possess unique potential and abilities even in Part I she was still stronger than Hinata as stated in the databook. Hinata will never surpass Sakura whether you believe it or not!
