Hinata on the other hand was considered fodder. Even by her own father/clan. Neji was 13 and mastered 128 palms while hinata at age 16 jjust BARELY got the hang of 64 palms and the lion fists doesnt seem to do much but increase damage and range of her taijutsu

Having the byakugan can give her the advantage in some fight, but being a novice at using it wont really help

On the flip side hinata is a better character and has progressed more than was expected of her. She's hella nice and generous while sakura is somewhat of a loud mouth 2 faced *****. Lol. Hinata has the guts to never give up just as narutoo does

For example when shit hit the fan during the pain invasion

Yeah when it comes to Naruto if it someone else she'll just sit there and watch. Ok she still weaker than Sakura and you can't deny it. She always doubted her abilities and still does. Sakura at first doubted hers but never gave up to catch up to her team-mates and to keep being a burden to them now that's potential. You may say Hinata does too but she is only doing it for Naruto's attention that isn't potential that is what you call showing off. She wants his attention and for him to make compliments so uh Sakura is way stronger has a lot of potential than Hinata whether you see it or not.
