This "durability" feat for Hidan can no longer be used.
This is Kakashi after the Fuuton blast. Although he managed to dodge it, you can see he clearly took some of the blast as his mask and clotches are ripped.
However, when we look at Hidan, his clotches are not tattered any more than they were before hand. This obviously shows that Hidan did not tank ANY of Kakuzu's blast, otherwise his clotches would have shown some damage. He obviously dodged the attack, as he knew it was coming.
Hidan did not tank this Fuuton blast.
While I'm at it, this proves Hidan took the same damage Asuma did from the Fire Style Burning Ash.
Hidan takes damage as any other human.
This is the damage Asuma suffered from his own Fire Style Burning Ash.
Later on, we see:
Hidan suffered those EXACT same burns.
Hidan takes damage just as any normal human, he just won't die from it. Meaning bones can, and will, be broken, and Hidan will be incapacitated.
