I prefer EMS to Rinnegan. Rinnegan has no counter for a majority of MS techs. Ex. Koto Amatsukami, Kamui, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu can be deflected, but can still do damage before hand, Susano'o has yet to be countered by it, but is debatable.

But if Perfect Susanoo is a given jutsu to every EMS user, then EMS > Rinnegan.

I agree, yup. But the top four all are just progressions of the Sharingan. They get all Sharingan powers.

Except for Nagato, who was a special case that had the eyes transplanted and only had partial access.

Madara has EMS and Nagato is a master of the Rinnegan.

Every attack Deva can do is thwarted by PS's Defense, Chibaku Tensei is annihilated by a slash of the sword and it's arguable that the shockwave from the the sword of PS is equal to Pein's Chou Shinra Tensei. The "control life and death" aspect is nothing more than supplementary because we are considering a one on one fight and their abilities to beat each other (users of each Dojutsu) not the versatility of such.

Care to come again?

I give the upper hand to Rinnegan because the user is guaranteed all of the techniques; nobody has more than one of the following: Enton, PS, Kamui, or KA.

To the guy saying "Shinra tensei pulls it away" no it doesn't. Shinra tensei is the REPULSIVE force of Deva Path, you're thinking of Bansho Tenshin, which still wouldn't do anything to something AS MASSIVE AS PS.

PS Slash SHOCKWAVE was enough to slice the top of mountains, not even the slash of it... Not to mention, Madara can COAT KURAMA AND AMPLIFY BIJUU DAMA'S WITH SWORD SLASHES...

Shinsenju and PS Slash are indeed in the same lvl with CBT,and more spammable i guess
but overall Rinnengan is more versatile with all the paths hax and dont forget Rinne tensei

The only difficult paths to deal with are Deva and Preta, and Preta isn't even directly offensive. Together in one body, they can come up with some powerful combinations, but the Rinnegan is at its peak when it has the element of surprise. EMS and MS are just as powerful if the opponent has info or not.

But again, this is all my opinion.
