Orochimaru without being able to use ninjutsu and having a weakening body taking on and playing with a Four-Tailed Naruto? That's far more bad ass then Tsunade barely managing to live. If Orochimaru had not come along, she would be dead with time. Katsuyu wouldn't be able to maintain all the Hokages, still be there, and heal Tsunade when she's that injured.

tsunade is not much of a badass. the third raikage,hiruzen,minato is much better. coming ot tsunade, she is good in healing than taijutsu. the reason the second world war would have been won was due to tsunade healing the army ands trengthening it. it is not neccesary that she should have fought. what jiraiya meant would be that tsunade helped the army recuperate by healing.

He was able to spam his creepy snakes, he was able to MOVE his arms. He was able to SUMMON. In part1 he wasn't even able to summon Manda, but in his fight with the Kyuubi he could summon the triple rashomon.

Nope. Jirairya stated Tsunade's abilities as a warrior and a medical ninja were the main reason Konoha won the war.

one can argue that Tsunade and the kages would still have survived even if Orochimaru didn't come.. Tsunade with katsuyu's help was doing okay with healing (so much that Katsuyu was allowed to let part of herself be summoned by Sakura to heal the Ninja Alliance).. yes, it was taking too long and Katsuyu even stated stated that she cannot use her full power but they are coping.. see in the scan, yes, Tsunade is in her old weakened self, but she still has her byakugou seal intact (well, slowly disappearing, but still intact nevertheless)..

even if Orochimaru didn't come.. i believe Tsunade would still have managed to save the kaes and herself but she would be in a coma again due to chakra exhaustion.. looking back on how Tsunade was confident they can survive this ordeal might be another proof..
