Location: Team Gai vs Kisame (Only without the water of course)
Knowledge: None.
Restrictions: 8th Gate.
Distance: 20 Meters

Who wins?

Personally I think Hidan can win this.

Gai is far too fast for Hidan, even in base form.

Not to mention that Gai has a multitude of ways to incapacitate Hidan. Asakujaku will tear Hidan apart, Hirudora will bury him into the ground, a punch even from base form Gai will
cave in Hidan's skull, or collapse his spine.

Gai engages Hidan in CQQ.

Any other methods of Gai hitting will be ineffective.

Nah man. Don't underestimate Hidan's speed. He was somewhat able to keep up with Kakashi.

Hirudora and Asakujaku weren't able to tear apart Kisame and we both know that Hidan's durability > Kisame's.

Anyways, thanks for your opinion.

Sorry but this is wrong.

Gai's speed in base form rivals body flicker technique. If you want, I can find the scan for you of him appearing to punch a shinobi through a cement wall.

Hidan was blown apart by bomb tags, and regardless Hidan isn't invincible. Bones can be broken, limbs can be shoved into his body, etc.

Gai has enough strength per punch to collapse Hidan's bones into themselves.

You keep bringing the same claims/arguments that were already proven wrong

Gai isn't that much faster than Kakashi in base form.. We both know that. -_-

You are underestimating Hidan's durability. Hidan didn't get blown apart.. The bombs exploded from all sides and made the wires that restrained him go deeper into his flesh so they cutted off his body parts. You can see that Hidan's body parts were in pieces like somebody cutted them off.

Nah, Hidan can fight with broken bones. Atsugai broke his bones pretty much, seeing as it hit him head on.

I think Hidan wins if there is no intel. If there is intel, Gai goes 7th Gate and rips off Hidans arms and legs. He would rip them off since Gai is stronger than Lee and Lee un-rooted a tree with 1 arm in base.

Getting scratched by Hidan does not mean instant kill. Hidan can not draw his circle and perform the ritual as long as Gai keeps him busy in cqc.
Also; Gai is superior to Hidan cqc; he can seperate Hidan from his scythe; even Lee was able to seperate Kisame from samehada in kazekage rescue arc(and the gap of speed skills between Lee(4,5) and Kisame(4) is smaller than Gai(5) and Hidan's(3,5)); Gai is more than capable to do it against Hidan.

What? No. I have no idea where you're getting this from.

Gai has shown time and again the advantage he has over Kakashi is speed.

Gai's BASE speed rivals the Body Flicker itself.

Nah, Hidan can fight with broken bones. Atsugai broke his bones pretty much, seeing as it hit him head on.

It doesn't matter what did the damage regardless, the wires or the tags.

If Hidan can be cut by simple wires and explosive force, Gai's punches (which have tons -literally, tons- of force behind them) can tear Hidan apart.

With enough speed and power, a similar effect to cutting can be produced.

If I have a metal cube, I can cut that cube with a welders cutting tool.

With enough speed and power behind my punch, I could also shatter that cube with one punch.

I debuked that Hidan doesn't break from physical attacks which you keep ignoring.

Show me where, because it clearly isn't on this thread.
