I don't know why bashing gets to people so much - if Kishi created characters who were all wonderfully perfect, the manga would be ****ing boring.

Sometimes I'll want to scream "NO KISHI! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" at my laptop screen after reading a chapter of the manga - BUT... y'know, he can't please everyone. And I'm a 20-something year old Scottish girl, I don't think it's writing we me in mind

Plus, a lot of people only get so... bash-happy about it because they care so much, feel invested in the manga. Hardly surprising as it's been running for a fair while now.

Besides, you need characters to hate - it's like how Karin makes Sakura look less of a psycho.
And yeah, the psycho fan-girl base Sasuke has in naruto-verse, maybe Kishi is drawing on the fact that there are a lot of women like that in real life (sadly enough).
Example: women who pursue/marry murderers on death row.

This is the first manga "FANBASE" that I know to ever bash its mangaka.Most of the people here are fans of Naruto(that's why they are in this fanbase,you wouldn't join if you're not a fan,right ? well most of them ) but I know they're just expressing themselves.But to ever bash its mangaka is just sad to see.I know we've seen a lot,so no need to quote them.

Now,I know someone with "What the purpose of this thread?" syndrome will come out.Think again why you're in this fanbase.

People who critisize Kishi, is fine I guess, but as I understand, you dont have a problem with that either.
Bashing is not fine of course (depends a bit what you consider bashing), but i doubt Naruto is the only manga with a fanbase who does that.
It probably happens with any manga with which has a forum to discuss about it.
I dont like it either, but that is what happens on the internet. People, think they can say anything.

The opposit of bashing is something I dislike as well btw. People who praise everything that Kishi does and if you dont love every single thing he does either, than you get comments in your face like not being allowed to have critisism unless you can write a better manga and stuff like that.

I think Kishi is writing and drawing a great series (Naruto), however I dont have to like every single thing he does.

Unfortunately, more than half of this fanbase comprises of emotionally charged children who feel as if 'hating' the manga openly is the way to vent their dissatisfaction with the course of the manga's plot.

If you dislike something, then express it in a calm and reposeful manner. Insulting the author isn't the solution either.

So, you´re supposed to praise non-stop, in this case the manga creator?

I think you can like, but I think it´s been aloooong time since human society members are meant or adore anyone or anything. Adoring is just as enslaving yourself, meaning whataver you adore does not have faults neither mistakes, and is meant to prevail in its perfection.

Kishi has made lots of mistakes, literally speaking, so forth, a consequence of taking an idiotic turn in a story, is baring the reply of the ppl who follow such story, and many times along with their comments, memes, or hate comments.

Manga writing is a job so as an art, such job is made by a person, persons are not perfect. Grow up and stay loyal to Kishi if you willing to do so, but do not demand worship to your dogma.

Well hating said creator of said book/show/anime/manga- is a common thing nowadays.

You can always point out the flaws in the creator imo, nothing wrong with that- instead ass kissing 24/7

But at the same time- Moderation is key, and appreciating what the person is doing is important
Sometimes i don't like what Kishi is doing, but i do love Naruto still- so have respect for him(as a artist i suppose) either way, even i don't like his choices and direction- and im going to stick around for the ride and see whats he's going to do next

If you meant REAL hate, that they hate everything of the manga, I will completely agree with you. But, as people know probably say, haters gonna hate. They won't change if you say that to them. Only if you knock them some sense in.
