Tsunade has lived twice now where she could have died. She is right now Hokage. Now theres a ton of theories of what he could play a part in, but im just gonna throw around a few and get your mind going.

1. Sasuke kills Tsunade.

2. Tsunade does something really important in the war since she was last healed by Orochimaru.

and theres more, but she isn't going to be useless and she definatley plays a big part in something thats coming up or kishi would have had Madara kill her.
