No, I'm fairly certain that the meteors are an application of a Rinnegan technique. What Sharingan technique allows you to pull meteors from space?

Yea you would think so, but then again, we really haven't even see obito or madara do much of anything recently. They've literally used maybe a combined 10 attacks since joining up. I think its about time we get to see them doing some actual damage.

Not Mokuton, but the Meteors, yes. The Rinnegan is not forgotten. We have to wait patiently for Kishi to plays it role yet again? u_u Remember, the Rinnegan is still unknown to us and its connection with the Sage and Juubi. Also, Madara still needs the Rinnegan ability Rinne Tensei to make him Juubi's Jinchuuriki.

I think this ^, its actually Deva paths attractive force ability to pull down cosmic meteors just multiple times enhanced.

OT: Rinnegan is too OP and might have more hidden abilities, hence Kishi is saving it for the last fight.

It could possibly be partly be his Rinnegan for meteors, but he requires his susanoo to be active and perform the hand-seals, so it could actually be both EMS and Rinnegan
