No, it was butthurt uchihas and the village system. no sasuke and naruto seek the same thing, but sasuke is willing to sacrifice the innocent for his cause aka he doesnt care how he becomes hokage he just "will". he doesnt care about the village, his comrades or anything but avenging itachi. His pain is understood but it doesnt mean other innnocents should be sacrificed like the tailed beasts (who are victims as much as him). This is paving the rd for naruto vs sasuke. He is blinded by hate and he will never return..he needs a mental institution for sure....and sakura, sai, and shikamaru not trusting him isnt helping....i just hope his ideal is only different and he isnt just still flat out evil..only mental.
