By hype, Gaara loses. Hiruzen is renowned as the Strongest Hokage and the Best of the Kage of his time. This included Onoki, Sandaime Raikage etc. which are in my opinion, above Gaara. But from feats, Gaara wins.

Gaara is a one trick pony while Hiruzen has an arsenal of various jutsu at his disposal. I say Hiruzen wins due to his versatility.

His one trick pony ability grants him many different variations on how to use it unlike Naruto and sasuke who get thier power ups out of thier asses .-. Gaara actually trained and honed his ability ..
His large scale attacks
Landscape changing
Flying
Sand tracking
3rd eye
And bijuu level chakra reserves along with his enormous stamina reserves

Is more the enough to beat the hurizen we've seen who knows he might show something while he's Edo but u have to realize that isn't the case atleast not yet

No it was stated in order for junjuruchi to become host to bijuu they needed to have enormous stamina and chakra reserved simply to be able to contain the beast so yeah ur wrong on tht one

Gaara was former junjuruchi so yeah gaara has both tailed beast level chakra and enormous stamina reserves

Even on his bio both stamina and chakra reserves r highest level u can have

but Sarutobi, Hiruzen could also win I think.. he has lots of tricks up his sleeve..
he can use REAL shadow clones to distract Gaara, but that sand is a major problem...
the youngest Kazekage vs the Oldest Hokage... wow what a match-up..
Im gonna go with it being a toss up. Maybe Sarutobi/ Enma are too worn & old & slow to beat young gaara.

I wonder though would , im pretty sure they could , 3 hiruzens RDS take Gaara out before the sand could stop him..

I forgot to mention.. Hiruzen can lay traps in Gaara's Sand like Deidara did and like how Hiruzen did
to the edo 1st and 2nd hokages .

It could be close but im going Garra. I think its a bad match up for the Hiruzen being that Garra can be in the air attacks long range and uses big scale attacks lets not forget his defense ether. Hiruzen does have the edge in battle experience and jutsus though.
