Most hated character?

I don't "hate" any character - they each add flavor and a different viewpoinit and strength to the story. Of the main characters, I dislike Hinata for having no goals or interests in life except as Naruto's groupy, and zero sense of humor...

After being disrespected by her own family, and being criticized by her own father Naruto saving her from being bullied, and him being the only thing she admired. What do you expect?

SAKURA
1. She has pink hair - she's a ninja... with pink hair.
2. "Sasuke-kuuuuun!" - her fan-girling was front & centre for much of Part I, and almost inexplicable during Part II - her 'love' for Sasuke is ridiculous.
3. She's vain, selfish, cruel, a bully - constatly hitting Naruto/putting him down, putting a crush before her bestfriend, acts of kindness/selflessness are rare.
4. She's worse than trash - she screwed over her own team mates in the idiotic belief she alone could kill Sasuke
5. She's a mini-Tsunade/Kushina hybrid - she unoriginal, even Hinata has her own moves and she's a Hyuga

Despite not being the main heroine of the series, during the 2010 interview many who work with Kishimoto have stated Hinata would have made a better heroine than Sakura.

Sakura = FAIL.

Trying to overcome hardships without depending or thinking on anyone, but on herself. I guess I have been expecting this from Hinata long time ago. If she really cares about Naruto, she should have realized this is one of the main features of the main kid. You could watch again the moments where Naruto was learning the Rasengan. Jirayia told him more than once that he had to get the trick for himself. Then three years after, Fuuton Rasen Shuriken was born.

Hinata got me surprised when she started to develop her unique style inside the Hyuuga's main branch, that made her quite more versatile than other Hyuuga members... all of this hard work for herself went down in the moment she speaked about Naruto's big hand, just after Neji died.

I thought she was emotional until that moment, then I realized she was a naru-psycho.

What I would expect? After 3 years of being fully accepted back by her family, private training by Neji, being raised to a clan leadership position - way more than what we have seen, that's for sure. The only time she shows initiative is when she perceives Naruto in danger. That's commendable, but insufficient - heck, she is supposed to be the heir to the head of her clan. Yet she never leads, never plans, shows no strategic or tactical thinking. She is really a sweet girl, make no mistake, but that's about all that can be said about her.
